Sunday

Well, here it is, already May. May 4th to be exact. The time is flying by so fast I can hardly see the time of day. Andrew only has this week left of college. Levi only has 3 weeks left of school. Matthew will be leaving for Iraq in about one month.

I have taken a leave of absence from scrapbooking for awhile, except for the scrapbook I am making for Matthew to take with him. I have started making jewelry for awhile. I tend to have to not think as hard when making jewelry. I have to think too hard to come up with a layout when scrapbooking. I have also stepped down from Independent Consultant to Hobbyist with AC Bailey Designs scrapbook company.

Levi has started baseball again this year and had his first game yesterday. He hit the ball both times up to bat and scored once. He is really enjoying this season better than last year. He is one of the "older" players this year.

Until next time have a good day and be safe.

Sunday

I have been trying to figure out when and where I will be having the next scrapbooking crop. I enjoy having it at the church but I hate having to clean up afterwards. Call me lazy but even with my Mom and Sister and Niece helping me it still a pain. I am thinking of finding a place that will fix the food and clean up for me. I may cost a bit more than $5 but you won't need to bring a snack also. I would like to have a little input on this.

A little about what is happening on the home front. Matthew is back from Louisiana. He will be leaving either Friday or Saturday for Ft Dix, New Jersey. Andrew went to work with Roger today and Levi is spending the weekend with his paternal grandparents. I am home with either a bladder infection or another kidney stone, not sure which but I sure do feel bad.

I am going to try and get a good scrap page picture of the boys in their jeans, western shirts, boots and hats before Matthew leaves. I have a layout in my head now I just need the picture to work with.

Well until next time, have a good day and be safe.

Sunday

Well, I am home from Oklahoma City from being at the American Farmers and Ranchers Convention. I had a booth at their trade show. I did not make many sales which I wish had gone a little better, but I did get the word out about the company and had several people gather information about becoming a consultant or hobbyist. Considering there are not very many people out there from Oklahoma that is a consultant, if any besides me, that would be great.

Everybody seems to be feeling better health wise. Matthew will be leaving in the morning for Louisiana for more training.

Well until next time be safe.

Monday evening

I hope you have had a nice day today. It has been a bit cool here today, only in the 40's.

Well, I made the cinnamon rock candy and am waiting for it to harden. Let me tell you, when cinnamon hits hot sugar and corn syrup stand back. I thought I was going to scorch my nostrils with cinnamon, NOT good.

Levi was home sick today, just laying around and not feeling well at all. I sure hope he doesn't have the flu. None of us got the flu shot this year, I was sick when everybody at work was getting it. Poor thing doesn't even want to eat and that is not like him at all.

Andrew has already gone back to Tishomingo for school, he left about 2pm. He'll be back Thursday though.

Well, Erica should be getting ready to head back to Ohio from CHA. She has posted on the forum some of the new items she is ordering for the store. There are some mighty nice things. Lots of goodies.

Until next time have a good evening and be safe.

Sunday

Hello everyone,

It is Sunday, Feb 10th, 2008. Levi, my 8 yr old is home sick with a bad cough and swollen right tonsil. Roger is home from work with severe sinus congestion and I too have sinus congestion and it is making my teeth hurt.

Well, later today I need to make some rock candy to take with me to sell, along with my scrapbook supplies, at the American Farmers and Ranchers Convention. I have been invited to set up a booth for three days. I hope to sell quite a bit of supplies. I just wish I had some farming/ranching or 4-H papers and stickers to sell. I did not find out I was going until last weekend.

Erica, the owner of AC Bailey Designs, is at CHA this weekend to pick out new goodies for the Scrapbook Supply Store. Can't wait to see what she picks out!! She did wonders at the summer CHA convention.

I am hoping I can learn the perks of this blog and start loading LO's and pictures. I will need to get my 18 yr old son to show me how.

Please have a good day and be safe

Hello

Hello everybody,

I am just now getting the courage to start a blog page. I have been pondering this for quite a while and have decided to go ahead and take the plunge. My oldest son, Matthew, is going to set me up with a My Space account before he actually leaves for Iraq. He said that would be the easiest way to comunicate with me. I have always thought I was too old to have one. I guess there really isn't any difference in My Space and having a blog site.

I am hoping to be able to increase my ability to keep this up and to promote and increase my sales to my scrapbooking business....I am an Independent Consultant for AC Bailey Designs scrapbook supply store. The store is mainly an online store but I do keep product in stock and have catalogs to give. You can visit the store at www.ACBaileyDesigns.com and shop away. Be sure to sign up for the frequent buyers club. It is free and you can earn points towards a $25.00 gift certificate to the online store.

I will be going for now, I need to get my office/scrapbooking corner set up and boy, do I have the work in store for me!!

Until next time, have a nice and wonderful weekend and be safe.
